Utilising memories and drawing upon her childhood growing up in Papua New Guinea and regional New South Wales, Amber explores memories and how we experience the landscape, through bold brush markings and vibrant colour. “Everything started to look the same to me, but he knew where to go because he followed the black birds, circling.”
