Utilising memories and drawing upon her childhood growing up in Papua New Guinea and regional New South Wales, Amber explores memories and how we experience the landscape, through bold brush markings and vibrant colour. “It looked like it would go on forever, so there I stood, where the seas met the skies.”

This work featured in Amber Hearn’s first solo exhibition Everywhere and Nowhere with Curatorial+Co. in March/April 2022.
