Curatorial+Co. commissioned this large scale 88m2 mural by acclaimed artist, Dennis Golding, to sit within Intermain’s new Alexandria workspace. Following the Pathways is formed from patterned lines that reflect the pathways paved by First Nations people from the land where the Intermain building is located – the Gadigal and Bidjigal people of the Eora nation. The artwork uses cultural motifs that reference water, native bush pods, meeting places and gatherings, which are interpreted through continued cultural practices and knowledges. A blue pond of water streams onto the floor offing a place for people to stand to acknowledge Country.
