"This work is an exploration of the moon shape and of random patterns", says the artist.
Katarina Wells explores her preoccupation with the natural environment through organic sculptural forms, finding inspiration in the natural bounty that surrounds her home on Sydney's Norther Beaches. Wells' most work employs colour, texture and form as an expression of the rugged Australian landscape.
