Deborah Kelly (Melb., 1962) has exhibited extensively around Australia and in the Biennales of Singapore, Sydney, Thessaloniki and Venice. Notable solo exhibitions include CREATION at YAM, Coffs Harbour (2026) and The Dock, Leitrim, Ireland (2024), The Gods of Tiny Things at ACMI (2021); Life in the Ruins (2018); Walter Galerie, Zurich; and Venus Envy (2017) at the Kvindemuseet, Denmark. In December 2019 she won first prize in the Fotogenia Festival, Mexico City and was Artist in Residence, Wellcome Collection, London. Since 2020 she has been building CREATION; a collaborative artwork in the form of a queer science fiction climate change religion. It has been presented at the MCA, AGNSW, for the Biennale of Sydney, at Sydney Opera House and as an episode of Compass on the ABC (2025). Her works are held by the NGA, MCA, QAGOMA, AGNSW and in private collections worldwide.
