Says Schunker of her work: “There is so much unrest in the world, and we find ourselves flung into mercurial circumstances on a whim. My work seeks to punctuate a place of refuge - a void from the turbulence, friction, and chaos. Looking within the subtle veils of silence, the negative spaces, our anxious souls find pause, enabling us to return home.”
