Emma Lindegaard

Perth-based ceramic artist Emma Lindegaard hand-builds each piece from her Waylyup/Fremantle studio using traditional coiling techniques and minimal tools. Guided by instinct, modernist influences and coastal geology, her abstract sculptures balance negative space, texture and refined restraint.

Shaped by ritual, tide and introspection, these works emerge from a daily communion with the sea. Rooted in embodied experience, each sculpture translates shifting emotional states into organic form - inviting stillness, reflection and a renewed sensitivity to our physical environment. Central voids and tactile surfaces echo the rhythms of water, light and breath, encouraging viewers to consider the porous boundary between inner life and landscape.
