The series 'Suburban Shrouds' explores the preservation of object and memory. Words of endearment, a needle and thread, treasured objects protected beneath cloth - the desire to remember and be remembered expressed through a domestic ritual.

This work is one of a four-part series of fine art photographs by creative duo, Jasmine Poole and Chris Sewell, whose interest in storytelling, design and preservation led to their collaboration. Each work features an intimate written message, embroidered on the draped cloth: Remember Me Always, Forget Me Never, Stay Just As You Are, Now and Forever. Together they form an expression of love and nostalgia most tender and contemplative.
