As a collage artist making abstract artworks, Caroline’s philosophy is informed by creating sculptural forms out of the many types of discarded materials that she comes across almost every day. Says Duffy of her work, “Nearly all of my sculptures and collages started life as some utilitarian object which was discarded and now has been made into something else."
This recycled cardboard work, taking inspiration from the construction of a bee hive, is a stand-alone study for a larger installation work created for Curatorial+Co.
