"'Temple of Flora' is an ode to the resilience and fortitude of Australian people who, for millennia, have lived within the landscape withstanding the harsh outback life. The native flower is a symbol of the beauty and humanity that unites us standing strong against the wide blue sky. Despite the reality of natural disasters and the looming threat of climate change, Australians remain committed to our life on this land and rise time and again out of the ravaged landscape. The flower blooms and sways in the wind standing for hope and living for today," explains photographer Simon Cardwell who photographs each element in the montage from real life, including sea- and skyscapes of Bondi Beach and wildlife in his local area.
