Brett Anthony Moore is a contemporary painter whose practice explores the expressive and spatial possibilities of abstraction through colour, gesture, and material process. Having lived and worked across India, Europe, and the United Kingdom, his work reflects a synthesis of global perspectives and local sensibilities, grounded in an emotional and perceptual understanding of painted form.
Moore’s paintings explore interconnectedness, diversity, and shared human experience. Working with polymer and acrylic mediums, Moore creates layered paint skins – rich, textured surfaces that embody movement, depth, and fluidity. These works engage with light, shadow, and form, evoking shifting perceptions and an unseen energy beneath the surface. The blending of colour and texture mirrors the evolving nature of self and collective identity, encouraging reflection on how we move together through difference – constantly reshaping the boundaries between individuality and belonging.
