Intending to draw the viewer deep into the space within his landscape paintings, Kevin Perkins achieves this through his use of colour, a sense of depth, perspective and light. “My paintings are windows into another world that invite you in for a time,” says Kevin. So come, sit, and stay for a while and peer into the jungle.

Ever enthralled by the natural world, Kevin uses earthy colour combinations, rich textures and the rhythms of life and death found in nature to create works that conjure up traditional landscape paintings yet veer into abstraction. His paintings are a synthetic beauty, an icon of the natural world. Kevin’s work intends to evoke a dialogue with the natural landscape with an attentiveness to the present moment without being tied to the particularity of place.
