This small work on paper is from a body of work Diana created in 2019 for her solo show titled “Flipside”. The works reference the things in life we don’t always notice or pay attention to and it was through new explorations and experimentation that these works came together. Diana worked by looking at elements in reverse, mirrored or as opposites. There is a strong focus on graphic forms, shape-making and abstraction and this show was the first time exhibiting her collage work.
