This series of paintings by Belinda Street was created after a residency at Nobbys/Whibayganba Lighthouse in Newcastle NSW. The harbour was such a hive of activity- coal ships, tug boats and leisure craft, as well as dolphins and birdlife.
Belinda says of this work: “I wanted to capture the feeling of being on the headland, looking down upon the harbour, feeling the elements and experiencing the spectacle.”
