Along the Organ Pipes Track 2, 2022, is apart of Belinda Street’s Mt Wellington (Kunanyi) & Kosciuszko series centred around two alpine areas of Australia; Mount Kosciuszko NSW and Mount Wellington TAS.

The alpine landscape is a recurring theme for Street, who is drawn not only to it’s sense of calm, beauty and awe, but also it’s loneliness and isolation- shifting and unstable. Through this landscape the artist pushes and pulls between representation and abstraction, using the pieces to explore her own personal desires, longing, loss, frustrations and guilt.
