During a significant time of motherhood, Chloe Caday depicts personal narratives between her two homes in her recent series of paintings. Slow, intimate moments within the land offer a reflection of the time before us – the stories of the land and how it communicates to us particularly through the stars, trees and waterways. Through these paintings, Chloe opens a dialogue between her past and present, allowing her historical connections to place narrate the perceptual shift experienced during this time.
