Diana has recently introduced oils into her practice and this is a small playful work born out of experimentation in this new medium.Textured brush strokes in soft pink hues and orange highlights sit against areas of space and contrast.

Creating the composition is a delicate dance of adding and taking away, creating and unsettling the balance, until all the elements finally sit with each other. This work is bold and graphic in form, echoing back perhaps to Diana’s days as a designer.
