Says Amber of her work Byron Street Mountain: “This work is a depiction of a landscape space on my grandfather’s farm where I spent a lot of time growing up. There was a very steep pathway on the side of a mountain top where he had placed an old street sign ‘Byron Street’. I spent lots of memorable moments at the top of Byron Street taking in the vast surroundings. The landscape was filled with large flat paddocks below and mountainous ranges overlooking them. These views have stuck with me and informed my way of seeing the landscape, they have embedded themselves in my mind.”
