These abstract landscape paintings continue to explore Belinda Street’s fascination with the alpine landscape of Kosciusczko National Park. However, these abstract paintings embody the experience of being in the landscape, rather than depictions of an actual scene; the landscape as a remembered feeling.

Says Belinda: “I use marks, forms, colour and layering to evoke not only a particular place but how I felt in that landscape. To create an abstract impression that evokes the emotions and sensory experiences that I had when I was in the landscape.”
