Says Natalie of her latest work: ‘The ‘montage’ series of ceramic hand-painted sculptures are an exercise in composition, colour blocking and the way in which, combined, these themes can distort and alter a three dimensional object depending on the angle of view. How different each object appears when rotated 90 degrees. Each sculpture is a montage of shapes and a celebration of colours, expressing their relationships with shadow and light.’
