“Spectrograms have played a crucial role in informing this body of work. By translating recorded pulses and frequencies into images, I have become attuned to an invisible reality that exists beyond human perception. These visual traces reveal the many ways that non-human species communicate. My paintings seek to echo this, offering a kind of visual listening, a space where sound and rhythm become visible. My works invite the viewer to sense the pulse of the earth, feel the unseen currents that connect us to the world, and experience the shared rhythm of body and landscape.”

The interplay between horizontal and vertical elements in the painting grounds the subject in the landscape and suggests the rhythm that flows through the natural world and the human body. This work celebrates the pulse of life as it connects all living things.”
