Natalie’s background as an architect greatly influences her ceramics practice. At the intersection between the two disciplines are her deceptively simple sculptures. “Marquette 2 is guided by the concept of sketching with clay, thinking with the hand and using ceramics as a tool for design and architectural thought,” says Natalie.
