Odette Ireland takes us into her serene studio where she creates ceramic sculptures and mobiles celebrating the ever-changing Australian landscape.
Drawing inspiration from renowned mobile artist Alexander Calder, Odette creates pods, leaves and trunks from raku clay and balances them with wire and copper rods. Every piece is unique unto itself and reflects the spirit of the Australian bush.
Following the recovery and regeneration after the recent bushfires Odette has created beautifully intricate works that celebrate both the land and its people. We warmly invite you to join Odette in her creative space and learn more about these works.
